Supernatural by Dr. Michael Heiser Book Study

We are taking an 8-week deep dive into the book Supernatural written by Dr. Michael Heiser.

Many Christians in the west are unaware of the impacts that evolutionary thought and its materialist counterparts have had on our reading and understanding of the Bible. Because of those impacts, we have unknowingly overlooked key elements and ideas of the war between good and evil throughout the Old Testament and into the New. Understanding the Deuteronomy 32 worldview of the Bible that the ancients held can help us better understand the enemy we’re fighting against in our present day, the spiritual world around us, and the one sovereign God who is victorious.

Beginning Wednesday, May 15, 2024, we will be spending 8 weeks going through the book Supernatural by Dr. Michael Heiser. We will utilize the Supernatural Study Guide by Ronn Johnson as we discuss the reading each week.

We will meet Wednesdays at 1pm ET / 10am PT for 8 weeks. Zoom links will be emailed each Wednesday morning.

BOOK STUDY OBJECTIVES 

1. To acquaint you with the Deuteronomy 32 worldview of the Bible.
2. To provide an overview of the Supernatural understanding of scripture in both the Old and New Testament
3. To help make more sense of the spiritual undercurrents of our present day
4. To establish a theological framework for what spiritual warfare truly is
5. To be equipped in community to grow God’s earthly family and take ground in His name
